We surpassed our goal of $1 per kg lifted at our very first event! We were able to donate $10,379.64 to saving with soul and got 9 dogs adopted in person between the two days. We also were able to give our top athletes a combined $5,374.89 in prize money from our rolling prize purse (along with other prizes!), the most of any local weightlifting competition. 

The event could not have gone better and absolutely could not have been pulled off without our amazing volunteers, sponsors, donors, athletes and of course spectators. The energy was electric the entire weekend and we could feel the joy radiating off of everyone who stepped on stage. We know it was a little cold, but we are so grateful for everyone who braved the weather to spend the weekend with us.
